Founded to uphold Pedro’s legacy in sports journalism, The Pedro Gomez Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2021 that offers a range of initiatives to further others’ aspirations in baseball, journalism and beyond. We hope to inspire and assist others in pursuing their dreams and goals as Pedro did.

 

The Gomez foundation works to support students at Arizona State University, University of Arizona, those part of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ), and more.  The Foundation works at both the community and national level to uplift future generations in their professional careers and to be a caring, upstanding peer to the Valley of the Sun as Pedro once demonstrated.
